Premajor Students Overview
UWT students are premajors if they have not yet applied to a major, such as psychology, or urban studies, or a program, like business or social welfare. Premajors can be first-year students, sophomores, juniors, or even, in some rare instances, seniors.
As a premajor, you can find academic advising in General Education and on UWT web sites for areas of study you are considering. Some majors are competitive--meaning that there are only a certain number of seats for them and students need to apply--others are open.
Take a look at the web sites that list the required courses or choices in the majors that interest you. Doing so will give you an idea of what electives to take on your way. Enjoy!
