A college education is a solid investment in your future. Although college can be expensive, the personal and economic benefits of a college degree far outweigh the costs.
If you take responsibility, the road to achieving your educational goals will be smooth. Consider all the costs. Plan ahead. Good planning inlcudes exploring options for scholarships and financial aid.
Many scholarships are available to UW Tacoma students based on merit and need. UW Tacoma's Financial Aid Office can help you find ways to supplement your funds and pay for your education.
To be considered for any type of financial aid, including scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. The FAFSA can be completed at any time, but for priority consideration you should make sure to complete it by February 28. After this date, for students applying for Autumn 2007, UW Tacoma's Financial Aid Office will strive to ensure students receive aid commensurate with their need.
